About me:

I was born and raised in Germany. When I came to Boston in 2003 I instantly fell in love with this beautiful city and Real Estate became my passion.  While writing my Ph.D. about German immigrants in Boston in the 19th century I wandered through all parts of the city and researched in libraries and archives. This made me see the city from various angles. It is fascinating to me how today old and new architecture blend in so beautifully in many parts of the city without taking away the Old World charm or the cool new architectural designs.

How I work:

Having lived in the North End, South End, Cambridge and currently Newton, I bring a vast knowledge and expertise of the local real estate market to my clients who get always exceptional customer service from me. I continuously strive for improvement and I think key to every successful transaction is a constant flow of communication between all parties involved.

Helping my clients to find that perfect home, or selling their old one to start all over is my passion. No timeframe too long, no effort too big. Buying or selling a home is a very important decision and should never be rushed. I will always listen to you attentively and empower you with my knowledge. Being very detail oriented and diligent in every aspect of the transaction I will leave nothing to chance and always negotiate the best deal for you.

Languages:

I am fluent in English, German and French, hoping to add Spanish to the list one day.

"Alexandra understood our preferences and expectations very quickly and accurately. She graciously put up with our endless questions and requests about potential properties, crunched up all the necessary data to support our decisions and gave excellent advice whenever needed. She always had our best interest at heart. Even after we bought our condo, Alexandra continued to give us much needed support on repairs and renovations. Throughout the whole process and beyond, she was always there with her positive attitude, great ideas and expert direction."

"Alexandra is fantastic! I would recommend to anyone to work with her! We've had the chance to work with Alexandra to buy our new home in Boston, Back Bay, and her diligence on the market given our specific asks was phenomenal. She scouted such amazing properties that in only one day we were ready to put an offer down and buy our place, understanding fully the price dynamics in the neighborhood. During all the closing time Alexandra went above and beyond to enable a smooth process. Thanks again Alexandra!"

"We recently purchased our first home with Alexandra. Her knowledge of the Newton real estate market, responsiveness, confidence, support, authenticity and positive energy made the process less intimidating and enjoyable. Alexandra researched the market for us, found properties to visit and guided us through the purchase process, anticipating the next hurdle. Prior to the close and starting light renovation, Alexandra accompanied us meeting many contractors. She had great referrals, remained tireless and upbeat. She offered sound advice throughout. We are grateful for Alexandra’s help."

  -Jenni, Client

"Alexandra helped me to buy my first house. As a first time buyer, Alexandra was probably the best agent I could have had. I had a lot of questions and she patiently walked me through the process, and helped me to understand what I needed to know. She was very responsive to my needs, and respectful to budget limitations I had. She was also very supportive on taking my time to find something I really liked. I am an indecisive person, and it took us 10 months to find what I liked. At no moment in this period she put any pressure on me to rush, nor she lost her enthusiasm on helping me. In fact, over and over she encouraged me to take my time. When we get to the closing stage, she was meticulous on dealing with the issues that came up. It was a bit of a stressful stage for me, but she dealt with it quite professionally. Besides all these fine qualities she possesses as a realtor, she’s also a wonderfully nice person. She’s super chill, and a nice companion to go for house shopping."
